THOMAS C. WALLACE

GASTONIA — Thomas Charles “Tom” Wallace, 63, of 205 W. Fifth Ave., died June 13, 2005, at his residence. He was a native of Gastonia, son of the late Raymond A. and Evelyn Houser Wallace.

He served in the National Guard, was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Gastonia, and retired after many years as a maintenance supervisor with the Concrete Supply Company of Gastonia. He was a life member of the Optimist Club of Gastonia.

SURVIVORS: His wife of 40 years, Nancy Hoffman Wallace; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason Stewart and Julia Wallace of Gastonia; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly W. and Jim Dillon of Cary, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Wallace of High Point, Jerry and Rita Wallace of Birmingham, AL, and Steve and Verdie Wallace of Newark, Delaware; a sister, Judy Wallace of Sunset Beach, NC; four grandchildren, David Garland, Andrew Wallace, Sam Dillon, Henry “Hank” Dillon; and a number of nieces and nephews
